Lovely camping spots were again very easy to find on Sardinia. One day fighting against the headwind a car passed by and honked a few times. When we had a closer look we spotted Andy’s parents in the car. They only knew the name of the city where we slept the night before and cruised around until they found us. A few days later, we parked the bicycles in Cagliari and went with Andy’s parents on different day-trips around the south of Sardinia. Without the exercise and with all the delicious eating and drinking we for sure lost some of our fitness – but enjoyed it too much to be concerned about it. Thank you again Helen and Hanspeter for the surprising visit and being so welcoming.
