Our route lead us through the French Alps to the Rhone Valley. On the way to the south we visited. Avignon and met other travellers heading to warmer places. Off season made it sometimes hard to find a place to stay if we needed a shower. One evening, we were offered a place to camp just behind a restaurant under the condition to leave early because the next morning a camera team was shooting a film at their location. Mandatory during our trip in France were the daily visits to the bakeries with their yummy breads and pastries. Aline always wanted to visit Marseille, so we decided to take the ferry from there before leaving the mainland. We had plenty of time to explore this fascinating city. On December 6th, we hopped on the ferry to Corsica and were sharing a big boat with only a few passengers.
